Garden Trouble

post-title

Today was the day—she was finally going to plant something!

She didn’t know exactly what to do… but how hard could gardening be? Dig a hole, drop in a seed, splash it with water—done!

Queso looked around proudly. “This is going to be easy-peasy!” she said.

Every morning, Queso sat by the window with her nose pressed to the glass.

She watched the garden carefully, waiting for little sprouts to appear.

She had planted the seeds, just like she was supposed to. Now all she could do was wait… and hope.

“Come on, little flowers,” she whispered.

She had planted seeds, watered them, and waited… but no flowers came.

Instead, the garden was full of weeds—tall, twisty, and definitely not pretty.

Her tail drooped and her ears flopped low. “I did everything I could,” she whispered. “But I guess I just don’t know how to grow a garden.”

Just when Queso thought all hope was lost, Henry arrived with a big smile.

He wore his trusty overalls and carried a basket full of tools—and lemonade!

“I heard you’ve got a garden emergency,” he said with a wink.

Queso’s eyes lit up.

Henry was a master gardener! He knew the secrets of soil and sunshine, seeds and sprouts. With Henry’s help, Queso felt her hope bloom again.

Queso and Henry got to work, side by side in the garden.

Queso dug careful little holes while Henry sprinkled in seeds. They watered, patted the soil, and even sang a silly planting song. Henry showed Queso how to pull out the weeds and check for sunlight.

With teamwork and smiles, the garden felt full of life again.

“This time,” Queso beamed, “we’re doing it right!”

The garden burst with color—reds, yellows, pinks, and purples everywhere!

Queso and Henry stood proudly among the blooming flowers, each holding a tall glass of cool lemonade. They sipped, smiled, and wagged their tails. “All it took was a little teamwork,” Henry said.

Queso nodded. “And a whole lot of heart.” Their garden was more than beautiful—it was theirs.
