Queso and Henry pressed their noses to the window, tails wagging with excitement. They watched closely as the car backed out of the driveway.

"Are they gone yet?" Henry whispered. "Almost..." Queso grinned.

Tonight wasn't just any night—it was party night.

As soon as the coast was clear, they’d put their big plan into motion.

"You're invited!" she said with a grin. "Snacks, music, dancing—don’t be late!"

Henry puffed up his cheeks and blew another balloon.

Ding dong! The door swung open—Henry’s tail wagged fast.

“Luna!” he cheered. “You made it!” Luna grinned and held up two big bags of treats.

“I brought snacks for everyone!” she barked. Behind her, more friends bounded up the path, tails wagging and noses twitching.

The house was about to get very full—and very fun!

The music was pumping and the paws were flying!

Queso twirled, Henry spun, and Luna laughed with joy. Around the living room, tails wagged in rhythm, ears flopped with every hop, and happy barks filled the air.

The dance floor was packed, the energy electric— this party was paws-itively perfect!

The front door creaked open... and everything stopped.

Queso froze. Henry’s tail stopped mid-wag. Confetti drifted through the air as music played on.

In the doorway stood their parents— wide-eyed, mouths open, and totally stunned.

“Uh-oh,” whispered Luna. The dance party had a surprise finale!

Queso and Henry sat quietly, their ears drooping.

The balloons had popped. The music had stopped. “No treats. No play dates.”

They knew the rules—no parties while the parents were away. They had danced, they had laughed… but now, they were grounded for a whole week.

“No more parties,” Henry promised. “Next time, we’ll ask first,” Queso added.
